Escalation meter

This chart shows how escalations cases varied over time. The y-axis of the chart shows us the total escalations over time and the x-axis denotes the time period.

Also, these escalations are further divided into open, in-progress, and closed categories(provided in the legend of the chart).

  1. Open: Number of new escalations that were created within the duration. By default, if an escalation arises it is set to an open status. An escalation in “Open” state means that it is pending to be picked up and to be resolved.
  2. In progress: When a member is working on resolving an particilar, the status In-progress.
  3. Closed: Number of escalations that were closed within the duration. An escalation is marked “Closed” when it has been resolved.
  4. Review Later: When work is paused for resolving an escalation, or to be picked up again later, it is put in “Review Later” state.

Use drop-down menu provided on top-right to select timeline options to see trends daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.

You can also download the chart’s data into an excel or CSV file by clicking on the hamburger icon. CSV file contains the timeline-period column and the count of in-progress, open, and closed escalations within that period respectively.
