Backup

Backup

Database is configured to retain last 7 days point-in-time backup. These backups allow to restore the server to any point-in-time within the configured backup retention period which is 7 days. All backups are encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption. Apart from it, automatic snapshot backups are taken periodically.

Data restore

In an event of disaster it is possible to create a new database from the last backup. It is also possible to restore the database to a point-in-time within the configured backup retention period or from snapshot backups. The backups are stored geo-redundant, meaning if the primary data center is down, we can restore it from secondary data center.
