Distribution Workflow

The Distribution section in Zykrr allows you to control how your survey is accessed, when it’s delivered, and who receives it. You can manage Open Link vs Unique Link access, apply personalized templates, schedule deliveries, and configure reminders for non-respondents.

Overview of Distribution Modes

Zykrr supports two primary survey access modes:

Both can be configured under DIY → Campaign → Distribution → Configure.

Open Link mode allows anyone with the survey link to participate. It’s best suited for anonymous surveys, kiosks, public QR codes, or social campaigns.

How it Works:

  • Enable “Open Link”
  • A public URL is generated
  • Share the link freely via email, social media, or website

Prevent Duplicate Responses:

Method Description
Restrict by Unique Answer Prevents multiple submissions if the same answer is submitted to a question
Time Window Define a cutoff period (e.g., block duplicates for 30 days)
Device-Based Restriction Uses browser cache to allow one response per device
Restrict Time by Device E.g., block same device for 7 days

Example: Use phone number or order ID as the unique field to detect repeated entries.

In Unique Link mode, each participant receives a personalized and secure survey link.

How it Works:

  • Enable “Unique Link”
  • Upload a participant list or integrate via API
  • Each respondent receives a private, non-transferable link

Prevent Duplicate Responses:

Method Description
Restrict by Email / Contact Choose one of four fields to identify duplicate: Email, Contact No, Custom ID, or IP Address
Device-Based Restriction Limit one response per browser/device using cache
Restrict by Time Window Prevent responses using same ID within specified days (e.g., 30 days)

Mandatory if your survey uses transactional identifiers or personalized metadata.

Survey Scheduling

Zykrr allows you to send surveys immediately or schedule them for optimal timing.

Capabilities:

  • Choose participant list
  • Choose message template
  • Define send time (now or later)
  • Choose recipients: All or Non-Respondents

Use Case: Reminders

Set a new schedule and choose “Non-Respondents” to follow up only with those who haven’t submitted.

Dynamic Template Rules (Rule Sets)

Zykrr supports Schedule Rule Sets for personalized distribution based on metadata.

Examples:

Segment Template Sent
Language = English eng-template-v2
Language = Hindi hindi-template-v1
Customer Type = VIP vip-feedback-template

A single schedule can send different templates to different participants using this logic.

Auto Reminders

You can configure automatic reminders that trigger after the original message is sent.

Reminder Settings:

  • Select Template
  • Send To: All or Non-Respondents
  • Schedule After (Hours): e.g., 24h after initial send
  • Preferred Time (UTC): Specify delivery time

Logic Examples:

  • Scenario 1 (No preferred time): Sent exactly X hours later
  • Scenario 2 (With preferred time): Delivered at preferred hour on the target day

Schedule Monitoring

Zykrr logs and displays all scheduled and sent messages.

Field Description
Message Type Email, SMS, WhatsApp
Schedule Time Timestamp of delivery
Status Sent / Scheduled
Provider Used Delivery vendor
Success / Failure Delivery report and counts
Actions Edit or delete scheduled entries
