Participants

The Participants tab in Zykrr allows you to manage the list of people you want to participate in your survey. This is especially important when using Unique Link distribution, as each participant will receive a personalized, non-transferable survey link.

1. Create a New Participant List

Click + ADD NEW LIST to begin the process of adding a new participant group.

Fields and Options:

  • Participant List Name: Name your list for easy identification.
  • Consider only new participants: Optional checkbox to exclude already existing participants.

Uploading Participants:

  • Click DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE to get the required CSV format.
  • Fill in participant information in the CSV (e.g., Name, Email, Phone, Custom ID).
  • Click UPLOAD PARTICIPANTS to upload the file (max size: 9.5 MB).
  • Zykrr shows a preview of:
    • Participants to be created
    • Participants to be updated
  • Click CREATE to finalize or CANCEL to exit.

2. Download All Participants

  • Click DOWNLOAD ALL PARTICIPANTS to export all participant records.
  • Export limit: Up to 500,000 participants per download.

3. Search Participants

You can filter participant data using the Search participant list by tool.

Search Options:

  • Select any metadata field from your uploaded CSV (e.g., Email, Region).
  • Enter the value to search for participants matching that field.

This is useful for segmentation, creating subsets, or retargeting.

4. Key Considerations

✅ Use the Template

Always use the provided CSV template to ensure the format matches Zykrr’s system requirements.

🔄 Create Subsets from Existing Data

  • Download all participants.
  • Filter offline (e.g., by region or status).
  • Re-upload the filtered list as a new participant list.

This approach is helpful for:

  • Sending different surveys to different segments.
  • Re-targeting only a subset of earlier participants.
