Reminders

One of the most effective ways to boost your survey response rate is by sending reminders to participants who haven’t yet responded. Zykrr makes it easy to configure both automatic and manual reminder workflows.

Reminders are only sent to non-respondents—those who have received the survey but haven’t submitted their response.


Auto-Reminders

You can configure Zykrr to send follow-up messages automatically after a predefined delay, at your preferred time.

How it works:

  • Set a delay (e.g., 48 hours) after the original invite
  • Choose the preferred time (e.g., 6 PM) for delivery
  • Use the same or different template
  • Target only non-respondents
  • Optionally configure multiple reminders (e.g., one at 48h, another at 72h)

Example:

Send Reminder 1: after 48 hours at 6 PM
Send Reminder 2: after 72 hours at 10 AM

When auto-reminders are enabled, a reminder schedule is automatically created for each send schedule in the campaign that targets all participants of a list.

⚠️ Auto-reminders are available only for campaigns using Email, SMS, or WhatsApp channels.


Manual Reminders

You can also create manual reminders directly from the Zykrr DIY interface.

To send manually:

  1. Go to DIY → Campaign → Schedule
  2. Create a new schedule
  3. In the “Send To Whom” field, select “Non-Respondents”
  4. Choose your channel, timing, and template as needed

Manual reminders give you flexibility to:

  • Use updated messaging
  • Retry delivery on alternate channels
  • Add new branding or offers

Best Practices

  • Use different subject lines or message tones in reminders
  • Keep message concise and action-focused
  • Don’t over-remind—stick to 1–2 nudges
  • Remind only those who haven’t responded—avoid spamming active users
  • Monitor reminder effectiveness in Campaign → Analytics

Notes

  • Reminders respect unsubscribe preferences and opt-outs
  • You can track reminder performance separately in reports
  • If a participant responds before the reminder time, they will be automatically excluded
