The Date question type allows participants to input a specific date as part of their response. It is typically used for collecting information such as birthdates, appointment scheduling, delivery preferences, or any other time-specific event.

Interaction Format

Participants can either:

• Manually type the date in the input field
• Or click on the calendar icon to open a date picker and select the date visually

Once the calendar icon is clicked, the date picker UI opens with a scrollable calendar view.

Configurations in Zykrr

1. Validation Rules

   • Disable Past Dates: Prevent participants from selecting any date before the current day.

     Example: For delivery date selection, restrict to today or future only.

   • Disable Future Dates: Prevent selection of any date beyond today.

     Example: For capturing date of incident or purchase, restrict to past and current dates only.

2. Mandatory/Optional Toggle
   Set the question as required or optional based on your workflow needs.
